WBA
From cloud computing in 2012 to remote working before it became a necessity, and e-invoicing today, foresight is not just a slogan at WBA.
WBA: 17 years, one guiding principle: to be ready before it’s needed.
The firm's fundamentals
We attach great importance to the work entrusted to us. We ensure that the information and advice we provide serve as a tool for you to manage your business, rather than simply a string of incomprehensible figures. To achieve this, we rely on:
- Day-to-day bookkeeping for all clients.
- A growing team, from two founders to a team of six staff members.
- An ongoing transition: Wise Business Experts (WBE), a chartered accountancy firm, was established in late 2024, led by founding partners Myriam Queuniez and Patrick Want.
Approach
Since 2009, WBA has chosen to prepare in advance before changes become urgent. This consistent approach has marked the firm’s major milestones.
- In 2012, WBA had already switched to a private cloud and IP telephony — an approach that was uncommon among Luxembourg-based accountancy firms at the time;
- Eight years later, the onset of COVID-19 had no impact on the firm’s organisation: remote working was already part of daily life;
- Today, the same approach applies to electronic invoicing. WBA is anticipating this transition, which is expected to be a major development for the sector: the firm’s working methods have been designed for years to adapt to it, and the integration of Peppol is already underway.
